New SWEAT Team Projects

SWEAT Teamers,

After doing some great flooring work for Mary Lee, we want to go back finish with the floor and do some yard work. If you remember from last week, her husband is the one who is in a wheelchair due to illness. Here is their address.

Also we hope to help stain the Hangar on the DBC campus. The Hangar is the log cabin looking building on the corner of Nottingham and Mingo.

Meagan wants to remind you to bring water, bug spray, and suntan lotion. All these will better prepare you for the elements!

As always please come by the SWEAT Team office (702 S. Locust) at 8:45am and go till noon.

New SWEAT Team projects for 8/22/09

SWEAT Teamers,

We have a gentlemen who lost his leg and is in rehab and trying to come home. We have the opportunity to put a tile floor in for him so he can get around. He lives here in Denton at 1005 Mulkey Ln.

Also, we are helping Gretchen, a single mom we have helped in the past. We will be painting her bathroom and doing yard work. Any help will be greatly appreciated! She lives in Aubrey at 2080 Rockhill Rd.

Please come to the SWEAT Team office at 8:45am on Saturdays to help out.

New SWEAT Team Projects for 8/15/09

SWEAT Teamer's

We will be going back to what is the heart of our ministry in building a wheelchair ramp for a lady in Lake Dallas who suffers from dizziness so bad she has to use a walker to go anywhere. This a large ramp that is 24 ft long and will connect to a deck. Here is the address.

Also, we go again to Cement City and help Doug Alcala in the Oasis Apts. This is special because we work alongside the people including kids who live in the apartment. Work includes painting, landscaping, and yard work. Here is a map to the site.

Meagan Butler had a great idea in bringing along bottled water, sunscreen, and bug spray to the project. I encourage you to do so as well.

Please come to the SWEAT team office (702 S.Locust) at 8:45am on Saturdays and we go till noon.

Thanks for your hard work!
Dave Ferree
